A Few Things

Bloodlust Historian SlothJosh has been busy lately, not only has he provided us with old drivers that may help the old DOS games run with sound (all zip files have been updated), he's hard at work on the official Bloodlust Wiki. In fact, we gave SlothJosh his title due to the fact that he started working on this thing without anyone asking him to do it. This guy is just that crazy. You'll find all kinds of backstory and artwork for characters that my crusty brain cells can barely remember.

We're cooking up something small, like we always do, while TS2 is in progress. Here's a teaser:

Be sure to head over to the Timeslaughter II page to read the biographies of most of the combatants and to see some art you may have missed out on.

Wrath of the Sea King FAQ

One of our fans has been kind enough to write up a walkthrough for WotSK's challenges. You can also find this FAQ on the game's individual page. Thanks Davide!

The Face of Madness

It's been a while since my last post, but rest assured progress is being made on the animation. Here's a little teaser from the TSII versus screen that should show off the amount of detail in this software abomination (click on the madman):

Games Page Complete

All the games should now be up and running. Report any problems and I'll get them fixed ASAP. Right now the only part of the new design that will not be functioning as a final element is the Humor page. It's linking to the old Horror Carnival address and doesn't match with the new style, but you'll be able to find old archived stuff there until January. When I get some free time, I'll collect all of it into one place here, but right now Timeslaughter II is my priority!

Games Page

You can now see what the Games page will look like, although the links will not work until the pages for the games themselves are uploaded. I'm still transferring stuff to the new site design, and although most of the subpages will remain the same, I want to make sure the quality remains consistent before uploading them.

bloodlustsoftware.com

That's right - we're now running on bloodlustsoftware.com due to the fine people hosting thehorrorcarnival.com exploding their hardware and offering the worst customer service since Buddy Tardinksi worked the Burger King drive-through. I do prefer this domain, of course, because the old horror site was dead in the water anyway.

Expect the main page to be up soon (aiming for a more artistic site this time if you couldn't tell), but for now you can click on the statue below to visit our forums.

I plan to have everything the old site had, but it will take a while for me to ensure the style matches on at least the main pages. The game pages (downloads and hopefully a TSII page) will be up within the week! I'd apologize for the sudden crash of the site and the disappearance/and or relocation, but you guys are used to it by now. In a world of midget terrorism, stability is a mere tall-tale.
