Troma "Click" Games

Shame on you if you don't recognize any of the characters above. You need to head to Troma's page right away and make up for your sins. During the height of my Click-craze, I contacted Troma to offer Bloodlust's weird little style to creating digital entertainment based on their absurd movies. My original intention was to get permission to use some of their characters in other Bloodlust games, specifically as characters in a fighting game format. These click games were done as quick methods to help promote Tromaville.com and generate some hype for Terror Firmer (the movie). In fact, I received a promo copy of Terror Firmer before the movie was released, which appealed to my geek side tremendously. The problem I had was that I ended up working for a company that was not very tolerant of working on home projects in the gaming industry, so I ended up having to stop working on these little Troma games. I work somewhere else now, and I definitely don't scare them by making free games at home, so don't be surprised if I start pestering Troma again to get permission to do a character pack for TSII down the road! Take these games for what they are - quick promotional tools catered to fans of in dependant cinema, and you can have a lot of fun with them.
It's the Toxic Avenger vs. Kabukiman in an all-out Troma head-whackathon! And to make it better, it has sexy Tromettes (and Tromen if you wish) watching in the background! The first of the Troma/Bloodlust free games.... Game Features: * Intense 1 or 2 player head-whacking death fest! * Babes! * The Penis Monster! * Blatant sales pitches! * Watch Lloyd Kaufman's head deteriorate as you bash it around! * Buckets of blood!
Looking back: Not much to say on this one. It's obviously a simple advertisement piece similar to what Nogginknockers 1 was supposed to be. In fact, it blatantly lifted Nogginknockers gameplay. Still it's a fun little timewaster and probably the only game that will ever be made that lets you play ping pong with Lloyd Kaufman's head. Click games are very unpredictable on newer systems, so it may or not work. Also, fonts and font sizes may be off.
Skippy's Revenge (2001)
Skippy's Revenge is a completely original game about crippled kids and riding mowers. In the Toxic Avenger, a gang of teens ran over poor Skippy's head for points and left him for dead. Skippy was able to crawl away and find help. Instead of turning the cheek like a good Christian boy, Skippy traded his wheelchair for a modified deathbuggy. They left him crippled...they left him angry....now it's time for SKIPPY'S REVENGE! Features: * 16 levels of crippled vengeance * More blood and guts on screen at one time than Timeslaughter * Cameos by all sorts of Troma characters * 2 Player Gang War mode * Painting With Blood (more fun than crayons - and there will likely be a contest for best blood painting) * Skippy Screen Saver! (watch the vehicles crash into each other for hours) PASSWORDS: "Boss2": Straight to Final Boss "End": Straight to Ending Press "n" in any level: Warp to Next "Hellbent": Important Player Feedback Mode
Strangely addictive. I actually still have a lot of fun playing this one once in a while. The kid's voice actually causes physical violence from some gamers, which is exactly what I intended. The game is much funnier if you've seen the Toxic Avenger and realize who he is (even though it's summarized in the intro). The squirrel ending wasn't as epic as I had intended, and was actually too easy - but I was really pretty lackluster with my Click programming skills. For a promo game though, Skippy served its purpose wonderfully. Click games are very unpredictable on newer systems, so it may or not work. Also, fonts and font sizes may be off. Oh, and Brian Dill, the musician for Skippy's Revenge, still has a site here!
Terror Firmer (2000)
Based on the Troma movie of the same name, Terror Firmer is every bit as sick as its film counterpart. We've got fetal tug-o-war, naked traffic jogging, body part pickling, crack in anal funnels, severed-leg-whack-a-mole, and even cereal killing. This hilarious collection of disturbing mini games is a perfect side dish to the movie (if you haven't bought the double-dvd set, shame on you!) Every level is a loosely reenacted scene from the motion picture, and many also parody classic arcade games. Features: * Mini Games Galore * Ever Changing Gameplay * Fat Guys and Escalators * Totally Sick Humor
Looking back: A ton of in-jokes for the movie, and it was also included on the special edition DVD! It's one of the most elaborate free movie-promos I've seen and some of the mini-games are actually pretty fun. The one regret I have here is that it was released as a Sample version of the game with the promise of more mini-games to come, but it never happened. I started working for a gaming company and signed a contract preventing me from working on these further. There is still a lot of old, oldschool gaming included and it's a nifty little extra for the movie. Click games are very unpredictable on newer systems, so it may or not work. Also, fonts and font sizes may be off.
